Hello Avante Members,

As spring begins to awaken with its vibrant colours, fresh fragrances, and the promise of new beginnings, we’re reminded of the exciting changes that come with a new season.

With that spirit in mind, the Board of Directors of Avante Women’s Centre is pleased to announce that Tara Blanchet has officially been appointed as the new Director of the Centre.

Over the past three months, Tara has served as our Interim Director, and during that time she has impressed us all with her kindness, thoughtful insight, steady leadership, and strong work ethic. We are thrilled that she has accepted the role permanently and look forward to continuing our work together as we move toward fulfilling the mission and promise of Avante Women’s Centre.
